The Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) is a new qualification, the highest level in the field of competency-based education. FDR processes have been developed over time as a vehicle for building positive, practical and sustainable outcomes for families and Children. Successful completion of this course opens a pathway to a career in mediation and family dispute resolution.
As part of reforms to the Australian Family Law System, the Federal Attorney General’s Department requires that candidates undertake this specialised training and obtain national registration in order to practice in FDR. The Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution will enable you to apply to become a registered practitioner.

How is the course made up?
The course is made up of 10 units.
How is the course offered?
The course is run over a 12 month period. Each semester includes a block of two weeks classroom activities, two weeks of work place application, external study and assessment activities.
How do I apply for Recognition Assessment (RPL)?
