FMC wins Federal Government Funding to provides services for Children after the Separation of their parents. This is a Melbourne-wide service and will commence in November 2008.

The Family Mediation Centre, approved by the Federal Attorney-General, was established in 1985 and provides services for couples in conflict over issues such as separation, arrangements for children and parenting, division of property and future relationships. The agreement-making process may be through either mediation or conciliation. Mediation is also provided for parents and adolescents in conflict. A men’s relationships program is available to assist and support separated men. Financial counselling is a service for individuals and couples.

We are also a leading training organisation for mediation and family dispute resolution. We offer training to professionals, as well as businesses and government departments.
